We've anticipating this for a couple of weeks now and finally it hit the papers this past Saturday on April 10th in the Detours section. With the 2010 Vancouver Olympics drawing nearer to it's finale Manitoban atheletes have represented our province with great Olympic accolades! Team Wood Anchor wishes ALL Olympiads the best as their competetivness has brought the nations closer together.
For all of us unfortunate ones not able to be in Vancouver to see all the sites and attend the games, there is one way for you to have a glimpse of Manitoba's contribution. For those of you who have not heard, our province was awarded the Vancouver Organizing Committee for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games (VANOC) Sustainability Star.

Above you can see a a sample of our reclaimed Elm Soffit(left) and our reclaimed Elm Decking(right). The news is the Pavillion will be shipped back to be a permanent display in Winnipeg. We'll keep you posted with any news on that!
